Cuisine - Appetizers

The perfect buffet for every occasion! Schanks recommends that a four or five item
appetizer buffet is suitable for very light appetizers, six to seven items is a substantial
appetizer spread and if you would like to consider your selections a meal choose
eight to ten items. We welcome any requests you may have. Please consult with our
Function Coordinator for pricing and suggestions. Appetizer buffets require an order for
a minimum of 15 guests.

    AAA Prime Rib,
chef-carved and served with Yorkshire pudding,
demi-glaze, au jus and horseradish.

 

Honey Baked Ham ($14.95 pp)
    Chef carved, tender and fresh Alberta ham baked to perfection. Served with three types of mustards, applesauce and pineapple rings.

 

Traditional Turkey ($15.95 pp)
    Oven roasted turkey, home style dressing, mouthwatering gravy and cranberries for the ultimate feast anytime.


Lemon Herb Chicken ($14.95 pp)
    Double breast of chicken, marinated and baked in Schanks own blend of fresh lemon and herbs.

Asiago Breast of Chicken ($21.95 pp)
    Rosemary Basted, double chicken breasts roasted to perfection.

 

Slow Roasted Baron of Beef ($15.95 pp)
    Chef-carved, succulent roast baron of beef
served with demi-glaze and horseradish.


Gunpowder Maple Glaze Salmon: ($17.95 pp)
    Thick cut salmon fillet seasoned with Schanks secret Gunpowder spice rub and glazed with maple syrup.

Themed Feasts

MEXICAN FIESTA ($18.95 pp)
  This Fiesta is sure to satisfy all appetites in your group. We'll provide the flour tortillas and taco shells, you do the creating with your choice of one of the following
  Spicy taco beef
  Fajita chicken
  Fajita shrimp  
 
  (Add $5.00 per person for each additional selection.) Mexican Fiesta is accompanied by Spanish rice, peppered kernel corn and Schanks signature chips and secret salsa. Garnish your creation with sour cream, grated cheese, garden fresh tomatoes, crisp lettuce and onion.
     
VIVA ITALIA ($18.95 pp, minimum 20 people)
  Vegetarian lasagna, Caesar salad, bruschetta and garlic toast accompanies
this popular feast. Choose one main dish:
